Step 1 Warming—up
1. Greetings: 新|课 |标|第 |一 | 网
2. Sing a song: 'The ABC Song'.
【设计意图】利用以前学过的问候语师生问好，让学生养成运用英语的习惯。 通过热身活动让学生动起来，活跃课堂气氛，激发学生的学习热情和兴趣，为接下来的字母学习打下基础。
Step 2 Presentation
T: You can sing it well. Look at me. Can you guess which letter is this? （师表演字母A,C,E, 学生猜，引出字母O, P, Q。）T：Do you know which letter is it? It’ s O, and it’s red，学习red。Red is one of the colours, today we are going to talk about colours, 引出colours – colour。
【设计意图】通过猜学过的字母，引出O, P, Q，并把这三个字母都涂上红色，老师先提示It’sred.到Q时，让学生试着说It’s red.自然的过渡到red这个单词的学习，并引出本课题目。）
1．“ Now Look at the screen, Danny and Jenny are talking about something’s colours , ”“ Let’s see what colour is the ballon / kite/ toy car ?放第一遍动画。引导学生回答：It’s red/ green / yellow.并利用实物，课件等多种形式进行操练。“This time can you ask me the question? ”学习句型 What colour is it ? 然后师生操练，生生操练。
2. T: You know three colours, red, green and yellow .Let’s watch again and find out what colour is the pen ? 解决问题中的单词the，放第二遍动画。学习It’s blue.出示各种图片操练。

【设计意图】第一遍动画先解决三个问题What colour is the ballon / kite/ toy car ?并利用实物，教室里的颜色和课件图片等学生感兴趣的东西操练It’s red/ green / yellow. 在操练颜色的同时，我不断地向学生渗透句型What colour is it? 让学生初步感知询问颜色的表达法。第三个问题时就让学生来问一问，学习句型。第二遍动画解决一个问题What colour is the pen ? 引出It’s blue. 本课中What colour is the … ?的运用是难点，所以在这里我出示了两幅图片，让学生来问，感知这样询问颜色更具体，更灵活。 第三遍动画跟读并分角色朗读。这部分整体设计思路由解决What colour is it ?到解决What colour is the pen ? 教学环节由易到难，层层递进。）
Step 3 Practice
1. First tell me what colour is it ? 利用转盘练习：It’s … .
Then let’s play a guessing game. （利用转盘，一个同学上讲台猜颜色，其他同学问What colour is it ? 直到这个同学猜对。）
2. Sharp eyes: Please watch carefully , then I’ll ask you some questions. (出示一张小丑的图片，看完后选择一个你想知道的问题N, O, P或者Q, 例如：选择N—What colour is the nose ？选择完后大家读出问题并猜。) xKb 1.C om
【设计意图】练习环节层层深入，让每个学生都参与进来，并运用第四单元学过的身体部位进行游戏活动，活跃课堂气氛，培养学生听说和观察能力，同时选择问题的方式用N, O, P和Q来呈现，也复习巩固了字母。）
Step 4 Production
1.(课件展示学校的一些照片。)Let’s enjoy some pictures of our school and find some colours in it. It’s colourful. 师问：What colour is it? 再由学生来问。
2. Find the colours in the classroom. Make a dialogue like this: What colour is it ? / What colour is the …? It’s … .
【设计意图】找一找学校中的颜色非常贴近学生的生活，再由学校引入到教室，把所学知识运用到实际中去，培养学生语言运用能力。
