T: Our mothers are so beautiful , clever and kind . We love our mothers . Do you know there’s a festival for our mothers ?（课件呈现关于母亲节的贺卡，板书“Mother’s Day card ”,然后带读、分组读、齐读）
T: It’s Mother’s Day . Here I have two questions for you about Mother’s Day .
Q1: When is Mother’s Day ?
Q2: What can we do on Mother’s Day ?

课文学习：分步骤循序渐进地引导学生熟悉课文
第一步：Listen and fill in the form
T: Mother’s Day is coming . The children will do something for their mothers . Listen to the tape , and try to fill in the following form .

第三步：Listen and repeat

第四步：Read and act
出示课文插图，引导学生表演。根据学生的水平，可先练习一幅图或多幅图，引导学生记忆对话和表演。
